Bitter Gourd (Ampalaya) Crop Protocol
Seed or planting material care and a leaf spray plan for Bitter Gourd (Ampalaya). Mix each listed dose with 16 L of water.
Before sowing or planting
Before sowing, mix 150 ml of either UltraPure or UltraBoost with 16 L of clean water. Use one product at a time. Briefly dip the seeds so all sides get wet. Let them air-dry in the shade before sowing. This may help seeds sprout.
Foliar spray schedule
The dose shown is for each product in one 16 L knapsack. You may use UltraBoost, UltraPure, or both. If you use both, measure the full listed dose of each product.
UltraBoost works best during active plant growth. UltraPure can treat seeds, soil, and leaves. It is a general prebiotic fertilizer for every stage of growth.
- New vines and leaves (20 days after sowing): Use 80 ml per 16 L of water. Spray the leaves evenly.
- First flowers (40 days after sowing): Use 100 ml per 16 L of water. Spray the leaves evenly.
- Young fruit (When fruit first forms): Use 100 ml per 16 L of water. Spray the leaves evenly.
Picking may begin from about 60 days after sowing.
- After the first harvest: Spray once each week. Use 50–100 ml per 16 L of water. Keep spraying while you keep picking.
