Michael Macrohon’s path to Agri Go Pro began long before the company itself, in a family deeply rooted in agriculture. His father, uncles, and many relatives worked as agriculturists, farmers, and agri-business operators; his father in particular spent his career with a multinational agricultural inputs company, giving Michael an early, first-hand understanding of farming practice and the input supply business. That upbringing shaped a lasting connection to the land, one he continues to pass on to his own children today.
Strategic oversight grounded in agriculture
Michael holds a degree in Business Management with a major in Economics, and later pursued theological studies at seminary, a period of reflection that, by his own account, shaped how he leads. His early career included roles as an auditor for a major tourism company and as a customer service supervisor for a national retail brand, before he moved into network marketing and, ultimately, co-founded Agri Go Pro.
As Chairman of the Board, his dual background as an economist and financial auditor gives him a distinct advantage: he can read a balance sheet and a harvest forecast with equal fluency. His oversight spans the strategic direction, financial discipline, and long-term planning that connect input costs to farmer outcomes, ensuring that AGPI’s growth is not just fast, but financially sound and sustainable.
A record of investing in people
Beyond the company, Michael is known for his mentorship. He has supported scholarship grantees, guided colleagues toward entrepreneurial success, and contributed to philanthropic programs run through church and non-government organizations. That same instinct to invest in people, he says, is what drew him to agriculture in the first place: a sector where sound stewardship translates directly into better lives for farming families.
Growing up around agriculture teaches you that results take a full season to show. You cannot rush a harvest, and you cannot fake one either.
